Community Inclusion Scholarship Application

School of Motion's mission is to break down the barriers to learning, mastering and working in Motion Design. The purpose of the Community Inclusion Scholarship is to help underrepresented and historically oppressed groups in the industry overcome this barrier.

Recipients of the Community Inclusion Scholarship for Fall 2020 will receive a 100% off enrollment voucher for one School of Motion course, including unlimited critiques from a Teaching Assistant, and access to the School of Motion alumni network.

We realize the cost of courses is just one of the many barriers to entry. This is a program that we are continuing to evolve as we find a sustainable way to help grow the community. We remain committed to our mission as we continue to work towards finding and providing more solutions.

Course Information:

Sessions are between 8-12 weeks long, depending on the course
You can follow along at your own pace but we suggest a time commitment of 15-20 hours per week
You will be assigned a professional motion designer as a Teaching Assistant who will give you feedback on your assignments
Once the course is completed, you will have unlimited access to the course material
Once you have completed the course, you will gain access to our Alumni Network

We will notify all applicants if they've received the scholarship by Monday, August 24th.The Community Inclusion Scholarship is an ongoing initiative; if you were unable to apply for the upcoming session, we hope you'll apply for a future session.
